Tasting Notes
Brilliant ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Very clear and intense nose with notes of dark roses, ripe wild raspberries, plus some cinchona bark and liquorice. Weighty and full-bodied at the start and on the palate, dark fruit components, then lots of full-bodied tannins in several layers, builds up for a long time, describes a wide arc on the finish, salty.
