Powerful aroma with ripe red fruit, currant, blackberry and cherry, savoury wood aromas, dried herbs, a hint of marzipan and cherry stone. Juicy and savoury on a powerful structure with ripe tannins, ripe dark fruit, also chocolate, good substance and balancing acidity, good length. Has the substance to accompany strong dishes and stews.
