The prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG Dry, vintage 2023 from the winery Riva dei Frati has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear straw yellow with numerous fine bubbles. Ripe pear on the nose, subtle hints of butter cookie and elderflower. Lots of juice on the palate, intense aromas of pear and a little banana, fine-grained mousse, somewhat unbalanced at the back, dominated by fruit sweetness.
