Rich, sparkling ruby purple; intense, clearly defined nose, rich blackberry, slight hint of rosemary in the background, some licorice; lots of grippy and rich tannin on the palate, unfolds with full pressure, lots of blackberry, cassis, lingering on the finish, but clearly marked by alcohol.
