Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle bright rim. Aromas of blackberry confit underlaid with fine savouriness, black cherry, a hint of liquorice, some dried moss, and candied orange zest. Juicy, dark berry, pleasant fruit, elegant, polished tannins, fine structure, red wild berry confit on the finish, very good length, and it has definite ageing potential.
