Powerful, rich ruby red. Intense and complex nose, with notes of ripe Amarena cherries, cloves, dark chocolate and tobacco, then a touch of dark pepper and macchia notes. On the palate it is sweet, slightly tannic, flavours of pickled Amarena cherries, with a long finish.
