Tasting Notes
At 14.5% alcohol, this not exactly light Valpolicella made from 100% Corvinara is a good, individual wine, but left me personally with a certain rustic character. Of course, after the Ornellaia 1998, almost every wine has a hard stand. - Strong carmine garnet, oaked, broad rim, smoky nose, delicate raisiny aroma, fresh heart cherries on the palate, sweet and lively at the same time, earthy core, strong alcohol, some bitter chocolate and cocoa, drying tannins, individual wine.
