The white wine Chardonnay Löwengang DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Tenuta Alois Lageder has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Brilliant, fine golden yellow. Opens on the nose with fine interwoven notes, of fresh banana, baby pineapple and anise, underpinned by hints of flint. Creamy and rich on the palate, in the course it is as if from a single mould, shows very balanced and harmonious, lots of juicy, vivid fruit, persistent and long on the finish.
