The red wine Enfoque Manchuela DO, vintage 2015 from the winery Altolandon has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Catarratto, Syrah from the region Manchuela in Spain.
Dried bean, beet, and fine oak aromas, and finally some cassis as well. On the palate mild grainy tannins, but with sufficiently supportive acidity, it is plump and opulent, with good fruit and plenty of chalk in the background. It is punchy and authentic with evident terroir character.
