Dense, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Rich and dense nose, lots of dark berry fruit, full of blackcurrants and blueberries, with fine savoury notes in the background that add complexity. Round and supple, fills the palate powerfully, plump, dark berry fruit, then opens up with plenty of fine, intense tannins, with a long finish of tobacco and spices.
