The red wine Marcello Lambrusco Gran Cru from the winery Ariola Vigne e Vini has been rated in 2017 by Axel Biesler, Ursula Haslauer with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro in Italy.
The aroma is bold and not at all drop-like, reminiscent of fresh blackberries and elderberries, spiced with a good dash of fresh herbs. Sweetness does not dominate the palate either, as there is a fine balance between a tart contour, vital carbonic acid and juicy fruit.
