Tasting Notes
Black berry fruit, liquorice, nuances of ripe sloes, fine smoky savouriness, cedar wood, multi-layered bouquet. Powerful but elegant, pleasant extracted sweetness, fine acidity, perfectly embedded tannins that ensure great length, ripe cherries on the finish, dark minerality on the finish, already drinkable, fine nougat aftertaste.
More about the tastingBalsamic, spicy, mineral, cherry fruit with a hint of patina on the nose. Very opulent on the palate, ripe, grainy tannins, powerful structure, sufficient acidity, high density, defensive juiciness, firm texture with a mineral underpinning, very taut on the inside with a strong tactile mineral component. Long finish, needs at least a decade to reach optimum maturity.
More about the tastingDark ruby garnet, deep core of color, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. Fresh berry fruit on the nose, distinct orange touch, delicately ethereal, mint, eucalyptus. Delicate fruit on the palate, perfect tannins, wonderfully balanced early form, fine chocolate note, will continue to develop, but is already very seductive.
