Tasting from 20.01.2022: Anne Krebiehl MW

An initial headiness of conifer informs the nose and slowly opens into crushed, tart, red berry. The palate comes in with immense juiciness that is light but almost emollient. The tannins are of velvet with great density and ripe, red cherry and aromatic berry unfold. Texturally this is glorious, aromatically it is heady, lifted with a verticality of fruit that soars but seems anchored in soil. The finish has the slightest hint of cocoa powder and more of that cherry.
