The red wine Starderi Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Azienda Agricola La Spinetta has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby with a slight garnet rim. Very clear and intense nose, with notes of preserved cherries and raspberries, some leather, red currant, exciting. Round and balanced on the palate, open with lots of present fruit, unfortunately becomes a little rough and drying in the finish, brittle charm.
