Deep dark ruby with a slight garnet rim. Shows pronounced caramel notes on the nose, some tobacco, then preserved cherries, reminiscent of Amarone. Very present on the palate, lots of ripe fruit, especially cherry and blackberry, very well embedded tannins, slightly resinous notes on the finish, but also good juiciness.
