Tasting from 19.11.2020: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich, bright ruby with a light garnet edge. Very intense and appealing nose with lots of dark, rich fruit of blackberry as well as some blueberry, plus lots of plum. On the palate gripping, hearty tannin, characterises the backbone of the wine, in addition also fine texture, dark chocolate on the finish, unfortunately also a lot of wood.
