Initially a lot of chocolate on the nose, then aromas such as cherry and above all herbs, mint, sage, pinimethol, then redcurrant and something "wild" like electrostatically charged cat fur take over. The palate reveals a very young Nebbiolo, with sandy, ripe tannins that are vivid in high medium density and await the development of fullness over the next 20 years.
