The red wine Taneto Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Badia di Morrona has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with deep dark accents. Initially somewhat reserved on the nose with subtle notes of fresh plum, blueberry, pepper, some earth and malt. Pleasant attack with tightly woven, velvety tannins, shows strong weight, yet polished, beautiful expression, characterised by tart savouriness on the finish.
