The red wine Guardiani di Ceppineri Nero d’Avola Riserva DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Baglio Oro has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Intense, impenetrable ruby red, almost black. Ripe and sweetish nose of raspberry and jelly sweets, some mocha, a hint of cocoa. Sweetish on the palate too, lots of concentration, a fruit bomb, all in all harmonious, albeit disproportionately powerful, strikes completely across the board.
