The red wine La Ghirlanda Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Bindi Sergardi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby with glinting core. Ripe cherry fruit on the nose coupled with gentle undertones of ripe strawberry and a noble savoury quality. Opens with nice density on the palate, taut and clean, showing lots of fruit, tight tannin and a long finish with minimal dryness.
