The red wine Podersdorfer Alte Reben, vintage 2019 from the winery Bio-Weingut Ettl has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with a black core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is a ripe herbal savouriness on the nose, along with a hint of nougat, some black wild berry confit, and candied orange zest. It is juicy, elegant, chocolaty, with well-integrated tannins, fine roasted plums, and a nutty aftertaste. It has certain ageing potential.
