Dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections. Ripe plum fruit with a fine woody touch, fine spices, some fine chocolate. Powerful, juicy cherry fruit, underlaid with fine blackberry confit, present, still somewhat demanding tannins, earthy spice, sticks well, roasted notes in the finish, will benefit from further bottle ageing. A hearty wine for a barbecue evening.
