Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle watery rim. Attractive black berry fruit, subtle herbal spice, a slight animalistic touch, hints of blackberry and vanilla. Juicy, good complexity, well-integrated tannins, elegant and persistent, peppery touch on the finish, has good ageing potential. A classic.
