Deep dark garnet, opaque core, delicate ochre rim. Inviting dark berry confit aroma, hints of nougat and fine oak spice, subtle hints of candied orange zest, opens nicely with aeration. Powerful, juicy, pronounced cherry fruit underlay, fresh structure, some cocoa and dark slate nuances on the finish, persistent, it has further ageing potential.
