The red wine Reserva Colección, vintage 2014 from the winery Bodegas Luis Cañas has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region Rioja Alta in Spain.
A hint of fig on the nose, almost a touch of Marsala, mint, thyme, savoury blueberry. In the mouth, a very fine grain of tannin creates structure and tension, lively acidity carries the rich and at the same time highly elegant structure, finishes with an emphasized juiciness. Has a decade of further potential!
