The red wine Palacios Remondo Propiedad Rioja DOCa, vintage 2008 from the winery Bodegas Palacios Remondo has been rated in 2011 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rioja Baja in Spain.
Fermented in wooden fermentation vats. Dark garnet ruby in colour. Very fine, even elegant sweet aromas of ultra-ripe grapes, red berries, and a delicate pimiento savouriness on the nose, with a touch of figs. Lush and generous in body, with very sweet fruit and a chocolaty texture. There's an elegant flow, but lacking the piquant acid freshness of the Montesa.
