Strong color for a ten-year-old wine, medium ruby garnet, delicate orange rim, delicately nutty on the nose, somewhat damp cardboard, like a fairly mature Cru Bourgeois from Bordeaux, some leather and chocolate, sweet and round on the palate, southern liqueur-like character, silky and round, perhaps a touch too sweet on the finish.
