Ripe, dark fruity nose: blackberries, plums, black cherry, savoury hints, subtle dried fruit nuances. On the palate, the wine shows a concise extracted sweetness and again lots of dark fruit, nuances of chocolate and dried fruit. Very fine, somewhat drying tannins, ripe acidity. Lingers for a long time.
