Tasting from 17.02.2016: Ulrich Sautter & Team

Dark color, very intense aroma, plum, cinnamon, clove, allspice, cocoa and dark chocolate, soft fullness on the palate, well-supporting ripe acidity, cooked blackberry, alcohol at the upper limit, but still integrated, grippy but crumbly tannin, has more freshness on the palate than the nose would suggest. Winter wine, food companion, e.g. with lamb with thyme and garlic.
