Tasting Notes
Initially ripe, spicy-piquant aroma: cherry with ripe patina, red and black currant, leather, herbal tones. Full of tension on the palate: fleshy tannins in an initially ripe mellow state, striking, well-integrated acidity, a layer of extract-sweet fruit, lots of juiciness on the finish and chalky-mineral notes. Hearty and almost a little rustic - but with excellent substance.
