This has a deep garnet color, with ochre reflections, and a broad and bright rim. On the nose there are ripe plum notes, with a hint of mint and lemongrass, some blackberry and liquorice, and a hint of nougat. It is juicy, elegant, and mellow, with a ripe cherry flavour, integrated tannins, dark berry on the finish, some minerality, and good persistence. It is a balanced food wine, finishing with some delicate tannins.
