Tasting from 27.04.2018: Ulrich Sautter

This seems still almost somewhat reductive on the nose. It is "old-fashioned" with notes of meat soup and almost no perceptible oak aroma character. Gran Reserva-like on the palate in the refinement of the tannins, in the density, and also in a nervous undertone that gives liveliness to the molten palate structure. It is delicately red-fruited on the finish, and is a good food wine.
