Tasting Notes
Seemingly a still youthful bouquet with aromas of blackberry jelly, sage pastille, also a tiny bit of bitter chocolate and cinnamon. Supple attack on the palate, silky and saline, beginning melted fine-grained tannins that build some astringency on the finish. A balanced, complex wine at the transition from youth to first stage of maturity, with good aromatic length and mineral tones, and is versatile. It should continue to be interesting to follow for five to ten years.
