The red wine Ortega Ezquerro Reserva Rioja DOCa, vintage 2014 from the winery Bodegas y Viñedos Ortega Ezquerro has been rated in 2019 by Benjamin Herzog & Dominik Vombach with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Grenache, Graciano from the region Rioja Baja in Spain.
Intense, rubbery wood savouriness, with rather bright fruit. Round and of good intensity on the palate. Tannins again somewhat brittle, but well wrapped up by the aromatic persistence. The juiciness on the finish is particularly pleasing.
