The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Borgo Scopeto has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Colorino from the region Chianti in Italy.
Dark ruby red with a brightening core. Somewhat restrained on the nose, of sour cherries, forest fruits, some citrus and dried rose petals. A certain juiciness on the palate, compact, with tightly woven tannins and good length, a surprise!
