It has an intense rich ruby red colour. It is restrained on the nose, only hesitantly revealing some smoke and red berry aromas. It is nicely balanced and juicy on the palate, showing a consistency throughout, and it has dark fruit flavours, as well as finely woven tannins, and a subtle drive on the finish.
