The red wine La Bastia Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Ca' de Rocchi - Tinazzi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby. Very intense and appealing nose of pickled plums and blackberries, plus lots of dark chocolate, some toasted notes in the background. Plays up nicely on the palate, much vivid, ripe berryish fruit, in addition polished tannin and nice freshness, juicy on the finish.
