Intense dark garnet. On the nose lots of leathery spice and animal-like with dark berry fruit and a slightly earthy undertone. Clear on the palate with precise fruit, rich and elegant, initially juicy and lightly salty. Very distinctive with a rich finish, but needs plenty of aeration. Great value for money.
