The red wine Baia al Vento Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Campo al Mare has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark ruby red. On the nose ripe fruits of the forest, raspberry, earthy nuances and fine leather, with wet stone and fine oak notes on the aftertaste. Velvety palate, great integrated tannin, beautifully round, with substance and pronounced fruit, has lots of energy, stretches beautifully over the tongue.
