Dark, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Very intense nose, initially showing notes of mint, then lots of blackberries and elderberries. Juicy and full-bodied in the attack and on the palate, builds full-bodied, lots of grippy, dense tannins, lingering chocolate flavour on the finish.
