The red wine Terrasolla Syrah Cortona DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Cantina Canaio has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark ruby with a drop of purple. A bit closed in the nose at the beginning, develops after some time in the glass a potpourri of chocolate, resin, ripe black cherries, plus soft underbrush tones, on vanilla butter in the echo. On the palate full of fruit, stretches across with a rich palate. Hearty, but remains a bit grippy in the finish.
