The red wine Poggio Petroso Gamay Colli del Trasimeno Rosso DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Cantina del Trasimeno - Duca della Corgna has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points.
Bright ruby with a slightly brightening garnet rim. Opens with pronounced smoky notes, lots of blackberry, also lots of cardamom and pepper, exciting. Grippy tannins on the palate, hearty, again lots of savouriness, some greenish components on the finish.
