Tasting from 22.03.2024: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark ruby red with a brightening rim. Initially restrained on the nose, then opens up to dark cherry, leather, some dried oregano and dark tobacco. Opens on the palate with an appealing fruit texture, reminiscent of dried figs, with an overhang of wood in the middle section and a delicately bitter finish.
