Intense ruby red with a subtly brightening rim and violet reflections. Initially fine earthy notes on the nose, some meaty notes, then fine honey and ripe cherries and blackberries, inviting. Beautiful fruit and elegant spiciness on the palate, polished body. Good drive at the back with tightly-knit tannins.
