Bright ruby colour, delicate purple shimmer and a brightening rim. Opens with notes of cherries and violets, some cranberries. Lots of juicy fruits on the palate, plenty of sour cherries, surprisingly fresh acidity, somewhat rough tannins, making the wine quite edgy on the finish.
