The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Cantina Ripoli has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Chianti in Italy.
Powerful, shiny ruby red colour with purple. Pronounced aroma of sour cherries, also slightly vegetal with bell peppers and nettles. Taut and wiry on the palate, with youthful, astringent tannins and a somewhat green and austere finish.
