The red wine Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Carlo Giacosa has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby colour with garnet-red tendencies. A spicy bouquet of sweet cherries and raspberries, with notes of clove, lilac and undergrowth. Plenty of sweet fruit on the palate, also slightly balsamic, on a crisp, slightly drying tannin.
