Tasting from 16.10.2024: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright ruby red with a cherry-red rim. Fine barrel savouriness, liquorice, vanilla, milk chocolate on the nose, ripe cherry fruit on the finish. Full-bodied on the palate, with compact fruit, delicate sweet mellowness and good acidity, with a lot of wood overhang on the finish, needs patience.

Bright ruby red with a cherry-red rim. Initially shows notes of dark bread crust, some malt, but then lots of fine cherry behind it. Very good tension on the palate, well-defined fruit and fine-meshed tannins.
