The red wine Südtiroler Lagrein Riserva Burgum Novum DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Castelfeder has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Deep, almost impenetrable rich ruby red. Spicy and dark berry notes on the nose, black currants, also a hint of mint. Warm and soft on the palate, opens gently with tightly woven tannins, well-structured, finishes powerful and gripping.
