Dark ruby with a brightening rim. Appealing nose of lush raspberries and cherry confit, plus subtle floral nuances of geranium. Also beet, reverberating light leather and sage. On the palate initially harmonious, acidity and tannin balanced, medium weight, cooked cherries and some milk chocolate. Very lively on the finish, slightly drying over.
More about the tastingVibrant, bright ruby with garnet and a shimmering core. Opens on the nose with nuances of thyme, black pepper, fresh blueberry, rich blackberry, some black tea and delicate leather. Juicy on the palate, builds with tension, dense tannins, salty on the tongue, lots of drinking flow, long finish.
